Sox fans will have long wait for another title

Well it’s good to see things are back to normal in Red Sox Country! Boston couldn’t defend its championship like New York has done so many times in the past. Your team, Mr. Ventucci (BDN, Oct. 25) led the division most of the year, yet they reverted back to their old ways of choking at the end.

Red Sox fans’ jealousy of New York’s 26 championships has got to stop! We’re running out of crying towels to hand out every time we spend money. Your owners have money, spend it and you too will find that money doesn’t always bring happiness or championships.

So, “cowboy up” with your team of idiots. It could be a long stretch until your next one, as it could be for us, too. Remember we weren’t supposed to win it this year, you were!
