Jermaine Walker
The UMaine senior linebacker earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week honors. He collected 13 tackles, nine unassisted, and two sacks in a 14-10 win over Northeastern.
Jen Marino
Jen Marino of Bates College earned NESCAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors. She scored the game-winner in the second overtime of the NESCAC final against Tufts.
Margaret Gormley
The Bowdoin College senior defenseman earned NESCAC Field Hockey Player of the Week honors. She paced a defense that allowed no goals through the NESCAC tourney.
Cait Cleaver
Cait Cleaver of Colby College earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors in volleyball. She lifted Colby to the NESCAC title with 15 kills and 25 digs in a 3-0 win over Tufts.
Michael Tomich
Colby College senior Michael Tomich was named the NESCAC Football Player of the Week. Tomich scored two touchdowns, including the game-winner, and had six catches for 131 yards to push Colby to the 28-16 win over Tufts University.
Sarah Willis
Saint Joseph’s College sophomore Sarah Willis was honored as the Association of Division III Independents women’s Runner of the Week. Willis ran a 6K time of 23:52 and finished 41st out of 250 runners at the ECAC Div. III Cross Country Championships at Connecticut College.
Megan Willette
Saint Joseph’s College freshman midfielder Megan Willette was named the Women’s Soccer Player of the Week by the Association of Division III Independents. Willette scored two goals and assisted another to lead the Monks to a 4-0 win over Green Mountain in the Independent Northeast Championship game.
