NORTHWOOD, N.H. – Police say speed and alcohol may have been factors in a car crash that took the life of a 49-year-old Maine man.
According to police, Stephen Schuyler of Kittery Point, Maine, was on Long Point Road when his car went off the road and slammed into a tree early Friday.
Schuyler was able to get out of the car before it burst into flames. He later died at Concord Hospital, police said.
“It’s looking like speed and alcohol may have played a role,” police Cpl. Glen Drolet said.
Anyone with information about Schuyler’s whereabouts before the accident is asked to call Northwood police.
