Lee postgrads fall to Eldon in opener

LEE – Charles Cole scored his only field goal and what proved to be the game-winning shot to put Eldon Academy up by one in the fourth quarter en route to a 79-78 postgraduate basketball victory over Lee Academy Monday.

The Lee postgrads were playing their first-ever game.

Reggie Holmes led Eldon with 25 points, and Wesley Johnson added 15.

Corey Bingham scored 25 points as Lee kept the game close to the end. Kenyele Evans and Trevon Wilcher added eight points each.
