VEAZIE – The Veazie Land Association, a chapter of the Orono Land Trust, will hold its first meeting at 5:30 tonight at the Veazie Community School on School Street. The Veazie Land Association is working to create public recreational trails connecting town-owned forestlands to adjacent neighborhoods.

VEAZIE – The Veazie Land Association, a chapter of the Orono Land Trust, will hold its first meeting at 5:30 tonight at the Veazie Community School on School Street. The Veazie Land Association is working to create public recreational trails connecting town-owned forestlands to adjacent neighborhoods.
The meeting will begin after a Veazie Conservation Commission meeting at 4 p.m. Presentations will include wildlife habitat management techniques and opportunities on town-owned forestlands.
Both meetings are open to the public.
To become a member of the Veazie chapter of the Orono Land Trust, send a minimum donation of $30 to Orono Land Trust-Veazie chapter, 100 Bennoch Road, Orono 04473.
