STANDISH – Kaylin Regula scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Saint Joseph’s College Monks to a 73-57 women’s basketball victory over Mitchell College Sunday.
Sophomore Marie Lint of Orono added 12 points with seven rebounds for the winners. Brittany Rauscher added six assists.
Ashley Hansen led Mitchell with 20 points and seven rebounds.

At Grand Forks, N.D., Katie Sunstrum and Brigitte Laflamme each scored second- period goals to lead the University of Maine past the North Dakota Fighting Sioux Saturday.
Laflamme and Amy Quirion assisted on Sunstrum’s goal. Kim Meagher assisted on Laflamme’s goal for the 8-3-3 Black Bears. Rachel Gettings saved all 22 shots she faced for the shutout.
Amber Eastbergen made 17 saves on 19 shots for the 2-10-2 Fighting Sioux.

At Belmont, Calif., Nate Lieb netted a game-high 20 points for Ohio Northern University, including five 3-pointers and three rebounds for the win.
Greg Badenhop added 17 points and also had five 3-pointers along with three assists for the winners.

At Brunswick, Andrew Sargeantson hit 10 of 12 shots from the field and finished with 20 points to lead Bowdoin by the University of Maine-Presque Isle.
The Polar Bears jumped out to a 31-0 lead as Jordan Fliegel scored a career-high 19 points.
Brett Miles led UMPI with nine points. Bowdoin forced 31 UMPI turnovers and had 23 steals. Bowdoin also out-rebounded the Owls 50-25.
