The Department of Environmental Protection will accept written comments on Pine Tree Landfill’s public benefit application through Thursday, Dec. 8.

Comments can be sent to Cyndi Darling, Maine Department of Environmental Protection, 106 Hogan Road, Bangor 04401, or e-mailed to cyndi.w.darling@maine.gov.

A public hearing also will be held on the public benefit application. A date has not yet been set, but the meeting likely will be held the first week in January in Hampden.
