For low-income seniors and people with disabilities now enrolled in Maine Rx Plus, Low-Cost Drugs for the Elderly and Disabled, or DEL, or MaineCare, the state of Maine has access to those medication records and can provide valuable information on appropriate Medicare plans, available subsidies and other guidance. Statewide Agency on Aging offices offer reliable advice, group workshops and one-on-one help in enrolling for Medicare Part D. The local office may be reached toll free at (877) 353-3771.
