AUBURN, Ala. – Bangor High graduate Lindsey Snyder helped her Central Connecticut State swimming team finish 13th in the 400-meter freestyle relay and 15th in the 400 medley relay at the U.S. Open last week.

Snyder, a Winterport resident and CCSU sophomore, led off the medley relay, finishing the 100 backstroke leg in a time of 1 minute, 7.28 seconds. She anchored the freestyle relay, clocking a 1:01.32 split time.

Snyder was also 28th out of 41 swimmers in the 200 back with a time of 2:23.27, which was a lifetime best. Snyder was seeded 41st.

Central Connecticut scored 23 points to finish sixth out of 10 college teams.
