NORTHFORD, CONN – UMaine’s Julie Poulin scored as time expired in regulation to force overtime, and the Black Bears played Quinnipiac College to a 2-2 tie in women’s hockey action Friday night.

Amy Quirion added a goal for 9-4-4 Maine and Sonia Corriveau an assist. Rachel Gettings saved 36 of 38 shots.

Elyse Cole had a goal and assist for 6-9-4 Qunnipiac and Jennifer Maclean added a goal. Connie Craig stopped 22 of 24 shots.
