Members of the congregation at St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., will celebrate the 150th anniversary of their church’s first Mass with a visit from their bishop. The Most Rev. Richard J. Malone will be principal celebrant and homilist at a service at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the church. The church was dedicated in 1856. After the Mass, parishioners will have a dinner in the parish hall. Call 942-6941.
