University of Maine-Fort Kent freshman forward Arcilla Jeffers was named Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week. Jeffers averaged 13 points and recorded 9 rebounds in three games.

Drew Cohen

Colby College junior Drew Cohen was honored as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Cohen averaged 21.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in two games last week, recording a double-double in both.

Jordan Allen

University of Maine-Fort Kent freshman guard was named Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week. He scored a career high 18 points and had 6 steals in a win over UMPI.

Jordan Heath

Husson College freshman Jordan Heath was named North Atlantic Conference Men’s Basketball Co-Rookie of the Week. Heath led the Eagles in scoring with a career-high 24 points against Maine Maritime.

Megan Myles

University of Southern Maine senior Megan Myles was recognized as the Little East Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. In two games, Myles averaged 21.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as the Huskies beat Colby and Eastern Connecticut State.

Melissa Bellemore

University of Southern Maine junior Melissa Bellemore was named the Little East Conference Field Athlete of the Week. Bellemore finished first in pole vault and long jump at the USM preseason Invitational.

Michael Bunker

University of Southern Maine senior Michael Bunker was honored as Little East Conference Track Athlete of the Week. Bunker set a school record in the 5000-meter run at the USM Preseason Invitational.

Michelle Gott

Maine Maritime junior Michelle Gott was named the North Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week. Gott averaged 19 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals as the team went 2-0 on the week.
