PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Bachelor of Social Work program has been granted a seven-year reaccredidation from the National Council on Social Work Education. The program was first accredited in 2000. Only 440 BSW programs across the nation are accredited by the council.

PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Bachelor of Social Work program has been granted a seven-year reaccredidation from the National Council on Social Work Education. The program was first accredited in 2000. Only 440 BSW programs across the nation are accredited by the council. Because of the accreditation, UMPI students in this field who wish to work in Maine have the advantage of practicing without licenser conditions.
