BIDDEFORD – Josh Daniels’ layup triggered a 7-0 run that snapped a 62-62 tie and his short jumper from the paint closed it out as the University of Southern Maine defeated the University of New England Nor’easters 73-68 in men’s basketball action Tuesday night.
Daniels led five Huskies in double figures with 14 points. He also grabbed five rebounds.
