PRESQUE ISLE – Greg Cyr scored two goals to lead to lead the Presque Isle Wildcats to a 5-1 high school hockey victory over the Foxcroft Academy Ponies Saturday.

Dylan Collins, Brad Young, and Dave O’Brien each scored a goal for the 2-1 Wildcats. Matt Talbot, Ryan Cyr, and Brandon Daigle all had an assist. Brendon Esquibel made 14 saves on 15 shots.

Bill Moriarty scored on a Logan Forrest assist in the third period for 1-1 Foxcroft Academy.

Leavitt 7, Hampden Acad. 4

At Brewer, Cory Maillet scored five goals and Justin Kent and Scott Redmun each added a goal as the Hornets of Turner Center earned the win.

Evan Longchamps had two assists for 1-1 Leavitt.

Steve Boutin led 0-2 Hampden Academy with three goals, while Tyler Kirk also scored for the Broncos. Josh Tardiff had two assists and Tim Henderson one assist for Hampden.

Leavitt goalie Richard Thibault made 19 saves on 23 stops. Ryan Richards made 14 saves on 18 shots for Hampden, while teammate Cam Murray made three saves on six shots.
