VAN BUREN – Ben Doucette scored 17 points as the unbeaten Van Buren Crusaders dealt the Washburn Beavers their first loss of the season, 63-42 in boys high school basketball action Thursday night.
Riley Lizotte had 13 points for the Crusaders and Trevor Hews added 11 points.
Adam Thompson led the Beavers with 18 points.
