ROCKLAND – A portable toilet at a construction site was set ablaze on Christmas Day, police reported.
The toilet, set up in the yard of a house that is being renovated at the corner of Holmes and Edwards streets, was reported burning at 8:10 p.m. Sunday.
The fire “burned it to the ground,” Deputy Police Chief Wally Tower said Tuesday.
“We do have a suspect,” he added, and the matter remained under investigation Tuesday.
