ROCKLAND – Police responded to a Cedar Street home Tuesday evening for a domestic dispute, which ended with the arrest of a woman, according to Deputy Chief Wallace Tower on Wednesday.
Octavia Oakes, 22, of Rockland was taken to Knox County Jail on charges of domestic assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated criminal mischief, Tower said. The victim was a family member, he said.
While inside the police cruiser, Oakes kicked out the door frame of the cruiser, which brought the aggravated criminal mischief charge.
The dollar amount of damage to the vehicle was unknown. Sgt. Don Finnegan and Officer William Smith investigated the 6:35 p.m. complaint.
