Whittaker leads perfect Wildcats past MA Lynx

PRESQUE ISLE – Greg Whitaker netted 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Presque Isle by Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln 69-57 in a battle of unbeaten boys basketball teams Wednesday.

Matt McGlinn scored 18 points for the Wildcats, while Chris Coffin added 16.

Derek Libbey led Mattanawcook with 21 points. Dylan Hanscom added 14 points for the Lynx.

Bree Hanscom led Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln with a game-high 23 points, while Michelle Paul scored 18 and Quinci Sanderson added 13.
