GORHAM – Buddy Leavitt hit a jumper with two seconds left to lift Husson of Bangor to a men’s basketball 77-75 victory over Colby of Waterville in the opening game of The Maine Event.

Leavitt finished with 26 points while Jason Harvey added 18 and Phil White 15 for the Eagles.

Mark Gaudet paced the White Mules with 24 points. Nate Dick added 13 while Drew Cohen and Nick Farrell each had 11.
