HEBRON – Maine State Police are looking for some toilet thieves who made off with more than $11,000 worth of plumbing fixtures from a home in Hebron.

Trooper Scott Gosselin said the bathroom bandits took five toilets, five toilet tanks, five sinks and other items late last week from an old home that is being razed to its studs to be refinished.

Gosselin said toilet thievery is unusual and that the thieves probably would have needed a large truck to haul away the items.
