Police Chief Michael Milburn said Tuesday the incident was reported by employees at the North Street fast-food restaurant on Dec. 28.

Milburn said that the restaurant was not broken into, and police were focusing their attention on those people who may have had access to the money.

There are no suspects, and the chief declined to comment on how much was taken. He said the incident remained under investigation.
