JACOB BERRY
The Camden Hills of Rockport sophomore was named outstanding wrestler of the 24th annual Noble Invitational wrestling tournament. Berry won the 140-pound weight class by defeating runnerup Jerod Rideout of Foxcroft Academy, the 2005 Class C state champion at 135 pounds, in the final, and led the Class B Windjammers to the team title.
Small School (Classes C-D)
JOSH PELLETIER
The Foxcroft Academy senior won the 275-pound weight class at the Noble Invitational wrestling tournament. Pelletier, a two-time Class C state champ at 215 pounds, defeated previously undefeated David Smith of Mountain Valley of Rumford, the two-tiime defending Class B state champ at 275, in the semifinals to avenge his only loss of the season.

Big School (Classes A-B)
CAITLIN HYNES
The Rockland senior forward had 29 points, 10 rebounds, seven blocks, six assists and four steals as the Tigers picked up their sixth win Tuesday, a 56-47 victory over MCI. Hynes led Rockland with 17 points in a 52-38 loss to undefeated Camden Hills last week.
Small School (Classes C-D)
RACHEL TORREY
AND COURTNEY COCHRAN
Torrey and Cochran, juniors on the Woodland basketball team, combined for 37 points in a 55-38 win on Jan. 2 over Lee, which hadn’t lost a regular-season game since the 2003-04 season including the 2005 Class D state championship. Torrey and Cochran also combined for 31 points in a 55-41 win over rival Calais on Dec. 24.
