At Pettingill Arena in Auburn, Matt Boehmer’s goal late in the second period re-established a two-goal lead for the Rams as they improved their record to 2-4.
Goals by Drew Marin, Boehmer and Dylan George had staked Bangor to a 3-0 lead before Cam Robichaud scored twice to cut the lead to 3-2.
Marin added an insurance goal in the third period.
Ben Silver, Mike Varney, Joel Whitney and Christian Dionne had assists for Bangor and Andrew Riley made 11 saves.
Jacob Marcum had an assist for 2-4 Edward Little and Adam Loudermilk made 25 saves.

Jay Tracey scored two goals for 0-6 Skowhegan, while Chris Caron scored the Indians’ third goal.
John Bapst’s Nate Kuneman made 20 saves on 23 shots, while Skowhegan’s Jared Johnson stopped 28 of 33 shots.
