According to the year-end report for Hollywood Slots at Bangor, which opened its Main Street gaming facility to the public on Nov. 4, 2004, a total of $60,252,671 has been wagered so far on the facility’s 475 slot machines.
The report shows that Hollywood Slots’ net revenue for its first two months of operation was $4,155,653.
Of that amount, $1,988,245 went to the state in the form of two tax payments, leaving Penn National with a profit of $2,167,408.
In accordance with state slots law, Penn National was assessed a 1 percent tax on its total slots wager of $60.2 million and a 39 percent tax on its net revenue.
