Foods distributed in Maine recalled

The following recalls have been announced:

. About 5,232 jars of Fisher Brand Deluxe Mixed Nuts, distributed by John B. Sanfilippo and Son Inc., because the product contains undeclared peanuts, a known allergen. The recalled 32-ounce plastic cans bear a best-by code of 110506 S1. The company shipped the product from Nov. 8 through Nov. 18 to distribution centers serving stores in California, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont. . About 300 packages of sun-dried tomatoes imported by The Cheeseworks Ltd., because the product contains undeclared sulfites. No illnesses have been reported. The recalled 5-pound Union Rex Sun-Dried Tomatoes bear a lot number including the date from April 2005 through November 2005. The product was distributed to retail stores in Arizona, California, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and Washington, D.C., from September 2005 through December 2005.
