Alyssa Burns

Maine Maritime Academy junior Alyssa Burns was recognized as Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week. Burns averaged 20.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in two games at the Williams College Winter Classic.

Ben Grandjean

Colby College junior goaltender Ben Grandjean was chosen as NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week. Grandjean went 3-0 on the week with a .931 save percentage.

Eileen Flaherty

Bowdoin College junior was selected as NESCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Flaherty averaged 24 points and nine rebounds in two wins over UMF and Emmanuel last week.

Hamill Bassue

University of Maine-Fort Kent freshman Hamill Bassue was honored as Sunrise Conferene Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week. He scored eight points and pulled down 10 rebounds in a win over Nova Scotia Agriculture College.

Josh Daniels

University of Southern Maine sophomore Josh Daniels was named Little East Conference Player of the Week. In two games, Daniels led the Huskies in scoring as he averaged 25 points, 4.5 rebounds and two assists as they finished the week 2-0.

Meg Coffin

Meg Coffin of Bates College was named Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week. Coffin scored 24 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Colby and 20 points with 14 rebounds over Baldwin-Wallace.

Nicole Corbin

University of Maine-Fort Kent junior Nicole Corbin was named Sunrise Conference Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week. Corbin averaged 22 points a game at the Halifax, Nova Scotia tournament.
