St. Albans explanation

As a resident of St. Albans for the past 29 years, it breaks my heart to see what two misguided, overzealous, arrogant selectmen can do to our beautiful community. It is unbelievable that they can simply terminate the contact of our beloved and excellent town manager, Larry Post, who has served the town well for 27 years, and not give the citizens who put them in their positions of apparently unbridled power, an explanation as to why they have chosen this action.

Despite repeated requests for their reasons they refuse to respond with anything other than a “no comment.” I suppose they have the right to such an unpopular opinion, but I would think they would have the courage of their convictions and the common courtesy toward their fellow townspeople to render an explanation.

I have nothing but respect for Larry Post and hope he prevails in his attempts to overturn their decision.
