BREWER – Casey White and Dana Libhart, members of the Penobscot Figure Skating Club, competed Dec. 29 in the Snowflake Skate Competition held in Falmouth.

The girls skated in two events, beginner compulsory moves flight 2, and limited beginner free skate program.

In the free skate, Dana placed first and Casey placed second.

Dana placed second and Casey placed fifth in compulsory moves.

Dana is the daughter of Mary and Peter Libhart of Brewer. Casey is the daughter of Jody and Ken White of Brewer.

The two girls are coached by Kissy Crowell Smith of Vassalboro. Her daughter, Ashley Marie Crowell Smith, placed second in the freestyle 1 compulsory moves division.

The Penobscot Figure Skating Club-Skating Club of Maine will hold its annual show 5:15-7:15 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at the Alfond Arena, University of Maine, Orono.
