CORINTH – The Central Red Devils snapped Dexter’s 72-game regular-season winning streak with a 46-45 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Tigers Friday night.

Kim LeBlanc’s basket with two minutes left capped a 9-2 Central run. Central then stalled after Dexter missed on the other end and ran out the clock to record the victory.

LeBlanc had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead the Red Devils. Theresa Libby added 12 points.

Katie Poirier led the Tigers with 11 points while Mallory Ames wound up with eight points against Central’s triangle-and-two defensive scheme.
