BREWER – Brad Libby scored seven of his nine points in the third overtime to power the Brewer Witches to a 66-59 schoolboy basketball victory over the Lawrence Bulldogs Monday.
Chris Wilson hit 10 of 12 shots in the overtime sessions to help Brewer prevail.
Wilson scored 28 points and had 12 rebounds for the Witches. Brandon Hardy chipped in with 16 points and Ben Valley added 10 points. Ryan Babin grabbed 11 rebounds.
Ben Costigan hit a 3-pointer as time expired to force the second overtime for Lawrence.
Cameron Oakes led the Bulldogs with 20 points. Jay Dangler scored 14 and Bobby Stitham had 11.

Jordan Gard scored a second period goal for 7-2 Houlton-Hodgdon and Billy Policano added a goal with 1:08 left in the game. Zach Chase and Micah Carton both had two assists. Sharif Abouleish and Ian Pasquarelli each added an assist. Nic Joslyn made 26 saves on 28 shots.
Marc Relford and Devon Fitzpatrick both scored a first- period goal for 9-2 Brewer. Ben Caldwell assisted the second goal and Aaron Saunders stopped 23 of 27 shots.
