MACHIAS – Christiannah Holmes poured in 30 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, and made four steals to lead the Machias Bulldogs to a 45-24 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners Monday.
Stephanie Whitman added seven rebounds and four steals for the Bulldogs.

Jordan Gard scored a second period goal for 7-2 Houlton-Hodgdon and Billy Policano added a goal with 1:08 left in the game. Zach Chase and Micah Carton both had two assists. Sharif Abouleish and Ian Pasquarelli each added an assist. Nic Joslyn made 26 saves on 28 shots.
Marc Relford and Devon Fitzpatrick both scored a first- period goal for 9-2 Brewer. Ben Caldwell assisted the second goal and Aaron Saunders stopped 23 of 27 shots.
