Sarah Konrad of Laramie, Wyo., who earned a spot on the U.S. Olympic biathlon team earlier this month in Fort Kent, was named to the U.S. Olympic cross country ski team Tuesday.
Konrad, 38, finished fourth overall at the Olympic biathlon trials at the 10th Mountain Ski Center. The top five women in Fort Kent were named to the biathlon team.
Konrad is ranked fifth in the U.S. in cross country. Seven women and 10 men were picked for the Olympic XC squad.
