CASTINE – Alyssa Burns led all scorers with 28 points on 9-for-10 shooting, grabbed six rebounds and dished out eight assists to lead the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners to a 94-80 North Atlantic Conference women’s basketball win over Thomas College Wednesday.

Michelle Gott scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds and Julia Knights had 16 points to go along with 14 rebounds.

Toby Martin tossed in 27 points for Thomas College of Waterville. Brittany Morin had 13 points and Kim Drosdik netted 12.

Alyssa Larochelle paced four Clippers in double figures with 16 points and added 11 rebounds. Sara Wells notched 13 points while Angela Qualey and Caitlin Heller chipped in with 12 apiece.
