BANGOR – The congregation of the First Assembly of God in Bangor announced the appointment of the Rev. Joseph Browne as the church’s new senior pastor. Browne and his wife, Tricia, most recently served on the pastoral staff at Ellsworth Assembly of God.

Browne is a graduate of Faith School of Theology and for more than 20 years has held credentials from the Northern New England District of the Assemblies of God. He has served as senior pastor and interim pastor in several Down East Maine churches.

The Brownes have been involved in short-term mission trips to Africa, Eastern Europe and Central America.

The Bangor First Assembly of God is located at 614 Finson Road. Worship services are held at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sundays, Royal Rangers for boys at 5:30 p.m. Sundays, and prayer and Bible study at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. To learn more about the church, call 947-1029 or visit www.bangorag.org.
