A workshop for those interested in experiential tourism has been scheduled for Friday, March 17, in Machias. The meeting is intended to build the collaborations necessary to create and expand the sustainable tours and itineraries drafted last summer for both Washington and Hancock counties.
Free and open to the public, the workshop is being hosted by the Vacationland Resources Committee of the Down East Resource Conservation and Development Council.
The workshop takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Carter Banquet Hall in Machias. The agenda and registration form will be posted on www.downeastrcd.com. It is also available by calling 546-2368.
