ORONO – The University of Maine athletic department and Good Shepherd Food Bank will join forces for a food drive before Saturday’s women’s basketball game against the University of Maryland Baltimore Country at noon and men’s hockey game against Providence at 7 p.m. Both games are at Alfond Arena.

Good Shepherd employees and volunteers will team with WABI-TV of Bangor’s Todd Simcox inside Alfond’s main entrance for both games. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or money for a donation.
