BREWER – Elizabeth Cote scored 12 of her team-high 19 points in the second half and hit all four of her free throw attempts in the fourth quarter as the Brewer High girls basketball team outscored Old Town 19-10 in the fourth quarter en route to a 59-47 high school victory Friday, avenging a loss earlier this season.

Katie Quimby drained four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for the Witches.

Katie Bergeron led all scorers with 23 points for Old Town.

Mt. Blue jumped out to an 11-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and never trailed thereafter, though Bangor did have a 3-point attempt to tie the game in the final seconds that fell off the rim.

Bonnie Silkman added 12 points for Mt. Blue.

Kelsey Curtis paced Bangor with 15 points, while Amy Hackett added 14 – all in the second half.
