PRESQUE ISLE – Logan Adams scored the game-winning layup with six seconds remaining as the John Bapst Crusaders knocked off the previously undefeated Presque Isle Wildcats 46-44 in schoolboy basketball action Saturday.
Adams finished with 15 points for John Bapst and Joe Novak added 11. Josh Jameson chipped in with 10 points.
Greg Whitaker netted 13 points, with the 1,000th of his career coming at the end of the third quarter. He also pulled down 11 rebounds. Matt McGlinn tossed in a game-high 17 points.
