MOUNTAIN CREEK, N.J. – Seth Wescott of Kingfield has been named to the U.S. Olympic snowboard cross team.

Wescott, 29, is a 1996 graduate of Carrabassett Valley Academy in Kingfield. He is the top-ranked American in snowboard cross and won a world championship in the discipline Sunday in the FIS Snowboard World Championships in Whistler, British Columbia.
