Checks and balances

The Bush administration’s widespread wiretapping, data mining and e-mail searches give them enormous information they can use for Wall Street insider trading, corporate espionage and spying on their rivals in the Democratic Party. It also gives them the ability to spy on Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation and the Abramoff investigations.

This unchecked power, unchecked advantage and thievery of rival American citizens’ privacy must be stopped or democratic checks and balances will be gone and an American king will have been spawned.
