MARS HILL – Andrew York scored a game-high 28 points as the Central Aroostook Panthers won their 12th straight game, 95-85 in overtime over the Katahdin Cougars in schoolboy basketball action Tuesday night, avenging and opening-night loss to Katahdin in Stacyville.
Tim Carlson had 18 points for the Panthers and Taylor McLaughlin scored 16 points. Eric Martinez had 15 points and Cameron York added 12 points.
Owen McCarthy and Patrick Willett paced Katahdin with 21 points each. Jared Anderson scored 18 points and Brett Gould had 15 points.
