Big School (Classes A-B)

DYLAN FITZPATRICK

The freshman on the Brewer hockey team had a natural hat trick in the Witches’ 4-3 victory over Class A Brunswick on Saturday. That win helped 10-2 Brewer earn the No. 1 ranking in the latest Eastern Maine Class B Heal point ratings.

Small School (Classes C-D)

EMERY LINCOLN

Lincoln, a senior forward for the Greater Houlton Christian Academy basketball team, averaged 19.3 points per game as the Eagles enhanced their playoff positioning in Eastern Maine Class D with wins over Ashland, Madawaska and Washburn.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

HILARY MAXIM

The Old Town sophomore track and field athlete won the 1-mile run with a time of 5:25.51 and also earned a win in the 800 with a time of 2:23.97 and Old Town went on to win a meet Saturday at the University of Maine. Old Town scored 135 points to Bangor’s 131.

Small School (Classes C-D)

KRISTIN VIOLETTE

Violette, a 6-foot forward on the Fort Kent basketball team, scored 14 points, including the 1,000th of her career, as the Warriors earned a key 54-51 win over Central of Corinth Saturday.
