A Bangor High School student reported to police that items had been stolen from his school locker on consecutive days this week.
The 14-year-old boy told Bangor police that sometime during school Monday, someone broke into his locker and took his iPod, valued at $200.
The next day, the student noticed that his cell phone – valued at $30 – was missing from his locker.
The boy told police that he keeps the locker locked and that no one else knows the combination. The lock has since been changed.
Police have gathered serial numbers for both items. The student’s cell phone carrier has agreed to keep the phone active free of charge for a few days to see if it helps turn up a suspect, according to police.

A Milford man was arrested Wednesday for shoplifting and violating conditions of his bail for reportedly hiding a shirt in a baby stroller and then walking out of a store without paying.
Jason Robinson, 20, was shopping at JC Penney at the Bangor Mall with his girlfriend, another male, and a baby in a stroller, according to police. Robinson picked up the shirt, placed it on the stroller and left the store.
An employee at Filene’s, another store in the mall, later told police Robinson could be seen on surveillance camera putting on the stolen shirt.
Robinson, who previously has been arrested for theft and burglary, police said, told officers he had plenty of cash and offered to pay for the shirt, according to a report.
When a police officer asked why he didn’t use that cash to pay off some of his outstanding fines, Robinson reportedly called the officer a disparaging name.
