BANGOR – Sam Carter and Sharif Abouleish each netted a goal and dished out an assist to lead Houlton-Hodgdon Black Hawks to a 3-0 high school hockey win over Foxcroft Academy Thursday.

Chris Howard added a goal for the Black Hawks. Aaron Fitzpatrick made 18 saves on 18 shots for the 10-3 winners.

Jon Catell stopped 40 of 43 shots for the 4-6 Ponies.

Fort Kent 71, Madawaska 38

At Madawaska, Kristin Violette racked up 36 points to lead the Warriors to their 10th win.

Marissa Albert tossed in 22 points for Fort Kent.

Amanda Plourde paced the Owls with 13 points and Kylie Pelletier added 10.
