BANGOR – Forward Caleb Violette poured in 50 points to lead the Central Maine Community College of Auburn men’s basketball team to an 85-72 victory over Eastern Maine Community College Thursday.

Glynn Ross chipped in with 13 points for the Mustangs and John Gilson added 12.

Tyler Erickson paced the Golden Eagles with 18 points on six 3-pointers and Bruce Boyington added 16 points. Wes Kochendoerfer contributed 12 points and 16 rebounds, and Miles Lindhal put in 10 points.
