PRESQUE ISLE – Erik St. Peter scored two goals and contributed an assist as Presque Isle defeated John Bapst 4-1 in high school hockey action Saturday at the Northern Maine Forum.
David O’Brien and Brandon Daigle each added a goal. Dylan Collins recorded two assists while Mike McGlinn and Brad Young each had an assist. Ethan Hill made 20 saves on 21 shots for the 7-7 Wildcats.
Travis Poulin of John Bapst scored the team’s only goal in the second period off a pass from Bryan Leighton. Nate Kuneman had 13 saves on 17 shots for the 4-6 Crusaders.
Houlton-Hodgdon 6, Kents Hill 2
At Houlton Civic Center Saturday, Houlton-Hodgdon scored five unanswered goals in the third period to hold on for the win.
Ian Pasquarelli and Jordan Gard led Houlton-Hodgdon with two goals apiece. Sam Carter and Sharif Abouleish each scored a goal, and Chris McGuire tallied two assists. Nic Joslyn made 18 saves on 20 shots.
Andrew Noils scored both goals for Kents Hill and Will Reyes made 31 saves on 37 shots.
