Eagles knock off Bucksport in OT

ELLSWORTH – Kayla Allen hit a 3-pointer, her only basket of the game, with 11 seconds left in regulation to force overtime, then Lindsey Gordon scored six of her 10 points in the extra period to lead the Bucksport girls basketball team to a 50-45 high school victory over the Ellsworth Eagles Monday.

Bri Kone tossed in 17 points for the Golden Bucks.

Hillary Savage led Ellsworth with 16 points, including four 3-pointers, while Ginny Dalrymple scored 14.

Jen Hutchins tossed in 19 points to lead Bangor Christian, while Morgan Chasse scored 12.

Regyn Lowry netted 10 points for the Mariners.
