PORTLAND – The U.S. Small Business Administration announced that federal disaster loans are available to small businesses in Piscataquis County that were affected economically by the outbreak of red tide in Maine waters.
Small businesses in the counties of Androscoggin, Aroostook, Cumberland, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Penobscot, Sagadahoc, Waldo, Washington and York in Maine and in the counties of Carroll, Rockingham and Strafford in New Hampshire are still eligible to apply.
Interested business owners should contact SBA Disaster Assistance Customer Service Center by calling toll-free (800) 659-2955, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
The business loan application also can be downloaded from the SBA Web site at www.sba.gov/disaster.
Completed applications should be returned to U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Assistance, 14925 Kingsport Highway, Fort Worth, Texas 76155.
