My wife and I do a lot of hiking. We’re on a project to walk the entire shoreline of Stockton Springs.

What brought you to Maine?

I live in my great-great-grandfather’s house. Among many other things, he was a shipbuilder.

A piece of toast.

What am I? An old hippie. Some people call me Santa.

What do you want the troops to know?

We really support the troops. We don’t support the administration sending them to die.

What is your favorite thing about living in Maine?

The people. They’re real.
